When I first installed Quicktime I wasn't not running the Sandbox at the time. The prompt is an automatic thing and at the time I did check "Do Not Prompt," which is why it does not appear outside the Sandbox anymore. For some reason, the Sandbox doesn't communicate with that one aspect. There is an add-on called "Quicktime Check Class." I thought disabling it would work but it just makes Quicktime not work at all.
