Also, I've been getting "SBIE2327 Error in COM server: [35 / 258]" from Sandboxie and, "The exception unknown software exception (0x000006ba) occured in the application at location 0x7c812aeb" since installing 3.31.18.0, so I'm going back to 3.31.8.0.

I'm sorry but I still can't see anything related to Adobe.

But the other thing you mention seems more important:

If you just go back to an earlier version then the problem might remain and prevent you from upgrading to more recent versions of Sandboxie. Can you describe in some more detail how you come to get this error? It may give me a hint how to approach this problem.

The error seemed to occur when I'd attempt navigating to a Web site by typing an address into the IE Address Bar (I don't use AutoComplete, by the way). There may have been other instances, but I recall that happening more than once. Also, one of the errors listed four lines of different numbers, and not the single "[35 / 258]" (with a line space break in between each entry). Sorry that I did not record that error (it was the first error I'd received after installing 3.31.18.0).

It has not happened since I uninstalled 3.31.18.0 and went back to the previous beta you'd suggested to me.

Do you remember if you had just IE running when you got these errors?

I may have had Outlook (2007) and Thunderbird running, along with an open explorer.exe, but doubt if others were also running.

HA! I just looked at the screenprint.jpg that I took, and only IE was running when this last error occurred, and I was at the Sandboxie Login Page! I'd attach it, but don't see a way to do so.

Just upload the screenshot to an image site, like picoodle or imageshack.us, then paste the (forum #1) link here.

mzinkan, until you can show me the screenshot, please try version 3.31.24 and let me know if the problem persists.

If it does, then I can prevent Internet Explorer from being involved in whatever it is that causes the error.

I don't mind trying betas, but before I try another beta (and might have to come back to 3.31.8.0, which works for me), is there a "trick" to saving all the tweaks I've added to the INI, so that I don't have to re-enter them all?

You should just upgrade (even older versions on top of newer ones, as long as we are talking about 3.31.xx versions), rather than uninstall on the way to upgrade, and then you won't lose any settings.

Please tell me if version 3.31.24 makes a difference or not.

OK, 3.31.24 seems fine (still cannot print to Adobe PDF though).

FYI, I can print to Adobe Writer (but the same page (Yahoo.com, for example) turns out to be 6.5 MB vs. 265 KB using Nitro PDF).

Also, not sure if this is a Sandboxie issue or not: I recently updated my SystemSuite Professional from v. 8 to v. 9. and whenever I run it (in Comprehensive Mode--cleanup, fix, defrag), Sandboxie has lost my registration info and I must re-enter it. This has happened on two different versions of Sandboxie.

I got round this, or a similar, problem with PDF Redirect. It also gives a choice of quality and hence file sizes, AFTER printing.
