When I have the exclusions in effect and audio is working, that's correct, I have no trace of those IPC's in Process Explorer, only in SB's Resource Access Monitor. Could it be that they are opened and closed very quickly, so that the RAM catches them, but they are already gone / closed by the time I search in Process Explorer?

Maybe it's a certain brand of audio card or driver that has the problem? My HP dv8000 laptop (Vista) has a Conexant High Definition Audio integrated card.

Well, whatever you changed in 3.33.08 fixed this problem as well. I thought I'd try it again, so I removed the exclusions, and everything still works. There's no notice of those IPC resources in Resource Access Monitor any more either.

Great! I hope we also get confirmation from the person who posted as "Vista".

Yes ! Not sure what you changed, tested your 3.33.08 and now YouTube plays well with audio on my Vista PC with DMR-enabled. Very Happy

Thanks, tzuk, once again for your ultimate will to deliver strong support for Sandboxie ! Laughing
