Perhaps read the LINK and it might answer your questions.... just a thought. I mean, it's probably there for a reason, right? You even quoted it...

Sorry, I forgot that because I was sunken in euphoria about the 64 bit version.

@tzuk: Ok. Hopefully you will find a way to don't make it too easy to bypass the mentioned usermode hook.

Hello,

Just installed the build 3.43.11 x64 and after installation, I was able to launch Internet Explorer and create my shortcut for Firefox and everything was working good. I then rebooted and keep getting an error when launching the browsers. I have uninstalled and re-installed but it does not work, even on the first install. Any help will be appreciated.
I have Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, with PrevX and F-Secure Antivirus 2010 with the Windows Firewall activated.

Here are some links to the errors that I am getting. (Not really use to this, so I hope the pics come out okay)

Might be a conflict with one of these other software. I'll try to install these programs and tell you what I find out.

Hi tzuk,

I have found the conflict, it is between F-Secure Deepguard and Sandboxie. When I disable the Deepguard in F-Secure, everything functions correctly, when I enable it, that is when I get the errors.

I have searched all the programs that are allowed and blocked in Deepguard and all the sandboxie processes and applications and eveything is allowed to run. Don't know where else to go from here.

Thanks for the help.

Hi tzuk,

Just wanted to let you know that I have removed F-Secure and installed Kav 2010 and everything is working great. I won't be needing the fix for now, but there may be others that have F-Secure and want to use Sandboxie.

Thanks for a great product once again.

Sorry to post this in the main topic but because of the beta section rules I couldn't create my own elsewhere.

My problem is that after the installation of sandboxie (3.43.12) on my 64bit Vista SP2 the only sign of it actually being active is a flashing exclamation mark in its tray icon.

Error messages:

Other info:
Comodo Firewall, Avast 5 free antivirus (beta), Windows Defender (all realtime)
Sandboxie was not installed into its default directory

Silent Assassin: Yes. If you look a few posts up, Kees1958 reported the same problem on Vista SP2, I am looking into it and will have an answer soon.

Hey tzuk and thanks for taking care of this issue. I can confirm that this bug has been indeed fixed and sandboxie is working just fine.

Big thanks
