Sandboxie 3.43.04 has some changes to the "Disable Forced Programs" feature:

- Added "Start.exe disable_force_off" command, which complements the "Start.exe disable_force" command.

- "Start.exe /disable_force c:\path\to\program.exe" added, which will run program.exe outside the supervision of Sandboxie, even if program.exe is a forced program or exists in a forced folder.

However, automatic forcing will not be disabled if the program executable file is located in the sandbox folder.

- Sandboxie will keep track of a program that was started as "Disable Forced Programs", and will not apply forcing to any programs started by that first program. Additionally this tracking will extend to those programs started by that first program.

Practical example:

1. Forced Firefox.exe is started outside the sandbox through Disabled Force Programs
2. That Firefox.exe restarts itself during update sequence. That new instance of Firefox.exe will not be forced, even if Disable Forced Programs mode is no longer in effect.

- And perhaps most useful, you can now hold Ctrl+Shift keys together when clicking Run Sandboxed to enable the /disable_force option described above.

Worked like a charm for my Firefox update. Nice touch.

Also nice. Is there, by any chance, a trick that will disable forcing when clicking an icon pinned to the Windows 7 taskbar?

That form of invocation doesn't go through Start.exe, so the Ctrl+Shift trick is irrelevant. So: No, I don't think there is a trick, at least not one I know at this time.

Tzuk, Ctrl+Shift doesn't appear to work with Windows Media Player 12.

Alright, but let's leave some problems for the next version.
