Are the command line installer switches the same as previous versions? Sandboxie Portable uses:
/install /S /D=<install dir> |

Yes, command line is passed as is to the child installer process, and the "wrapper" waits for the child to terminate, and exits with the exit code received from the child. In other words it should be completely transparent.

Does the new installer refuse to install if it finds the (unsupported) XP 64-bit OS?

No problem so far with Windows XP 32 bit.

Yes. Actually that check is in SandboxieInstall64.exe, and in version 3.43.22, it checks for (64-bit) XP/2003, and aborts. |

There is one minor problem I've noticed. A SandboxieInstall....exe file is copied to a temporary folder, and might not be deleted when the installation is finished. I already fixed this, the installer in version 3.44 will not have this problem.

Upgrading my 32-bit WinXP-SP3 from Sandboxie 3.43.21 to this latest 3.43.22 went smoothly, with no problems at all!

One problem:
Because of the name has been changed to SandboxieInstall32.exe. The older SandboxieInstall.exe in C:\Windows\Installer\ will not be cleaned. |
