once in a while I get an Error when starting Firefox: SBIE2203 Failed to communicate with Sandboxie Service: RPCSS/SXS - firefox.exe

Sometimes when Outlook and NEO are running in the Sandbox and then I start Firefox, Firefox shows up in the Sandboxie control window but closes immediately (without showing on the desktop at all).

I know that some people are seeing this error SBIE2203 in various cases, I will try to address that in the early stages of the next beta.

before the error SBIE2203 shows when starting Firefox (there it comes very often) the Sandboxie control window shows

1. Firefox ... running
and

2. unknown executable image

then 2. goes away and error window pops up.

Please try version 3.53.01.

Trying 3.53.04 - install requires a log off otherwise a constant error shows on all programs started in the sandbox. Prior installs worked worked without any interaction after install finished.

Firefox did start 10 times WITHOUT an error

Firefox starts without any error ONLY when another program is already running in the sandbox.

If Firefox is the first program in the sandbox, I am getting the error:

SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1)

This goes on until I kill the program in the sandbox.

Just updated to 3.53.05 - no change

I was told that version 3.53.02 did not experience any of these errors, which were in version 3.52, and that version 3.53.04 brought them back.

And this gave me an idea as to what the problem could be, and I hope that I can fix it in version 3.53.06.

Firefox starts now in Sandboxie 3.53.06

Outlook fails now - see other problem topic.
