Can you also try posting your config file as well? To get to it, just open Sandboxie Control and click Configure -> Edit Configuration and then just copy everything from the notepad window and paste it here.

Thanks for the taking the time to experiment with iolo even if it did not give any real results. As for the problem, I'm afraid that I didn't see anything else in the resource log or your Sandboxie.ini file that hints about the cause of the problem. I'm sorry.
Would you like to try to run Firefox in the sandbox under a debugger to see if that gives an hints? It could be a bit of a hassle so it's up to you. |

I have some step-by-step instructions here:
http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?HowToUseWinDbg First thing to try is install the (32-bit) debugger and then configure Firefox in Sandboxie as a forced program. Then you start the debugger and tell it to "Open Executable" (it's a command in the File menu in the debugger) and the executable is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\Firefox.exe" Again, Firefox.exe should be set as a forced program for this test. Then press F5 to run Firefox under Sandboxie. Let me know how it goes, or if you need any clarifications with any of this. |

Ok, I can do that, just one Question. Why the 32 bit debugger when I have a 64 bit system?

I'm pretty sure this is the info you want. I noticed the error file not found so who knows maybe this will help.

Are you sure you did it correctly?
I mean, it might help tzuk but I have to say, that's extremely short, there should be a lot more info in that log if I'm not mistaken. Also it looks like you used the 64-bit debugger instead of the 32-bit. |

Yeah I'll try again, Not sure but I thought I hit the 32 bit kink ?

I hope I did it right this time, I did indeed run the wrong debugger but this time I used the x86 debugger.

If that is the debug log in its entirety then it indicates the Firefox.exe program has not crashed or stopped and is still running by the time you have copied the contents of the WinDbg command window.
So what you should do is use the Break command from the Debug menu to force execution of Firefox.exe to stop, then you should issue some debugger commands to display information about the program, as described in the "Final Step" section of the debugger guide here: http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?HowToUseWinDbg Also, if possible, use version 3.57.07 (which I released earlier today) so the information in the debugger is in sync with my copy of Sandboxie. |
