| 2.86 and Firefox freezes |

I dont use vista and dont have freezes, but from time to time FF occupates 100% cpu from time ti time for 5 secounds or so, same with outlook, may have the same reason as your problem.

Just tried this on a Vista updated with all the latest updates. Can't see this happen. Did you enable any mouse gesturing or keyboard macro features, recently?

Dang - not not recently - I have always used the All-In-One Gestures ff addon and that has not changed recently - Ill try disabling all my ff plugins and see how it is....

Then maybe a Sandboxie trace would reveal the activity that is causing Firefox to halt?

Edit Sandboxie.ini near the top, to say:
FileTrace=ad KeyTrace=ad IpcTrace=ad PipeTrace=ad And then restart Firefox. You view the output on DebugView. Be sure to clear that ouptut (Ctrl+X in DebugView) once Firefox has finished loading, to keep the trace small and manageable. Also, if possible, don't browse. Only move the mouse around until you get the hang, then see if that has caused information to appear in the trace. |
