Apparently Sandboxie has been putting the correct icon on shortcuts for quite some time.
As for an icon overlay, as far as I can tell this requires a shell extension, i.e. software that ties into Windows Explorer. This means uninstalling/reinstallation of Sandboxie becomes more complicated, so I don't think I'll do it. |

I was only half right, Sandboxie was only selecting the correct icon when the program EXE file could be found outside the sandbox.
In version 3.63.01, the correct icon will be selected even for programs installed inside the sandbox. |
