Yes,
I have read this and this http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ExperimentalProtection I was just curious if the latest versions introduces something new on the matter. The name "Experimental Protection" and the fact that you have to enable it manually let me think that it is a work in progress feature, maybe not stable enough when it was added. Bye |

ok, you didnt understood it at all - this is the essential of it
it is good as the kernel of x64. if you dont trust the kernel (MS), you can not trust sandboxie. now its on you |

It's marked experimental because it uses some unofficial stuff which means there is no guarantee that it will not stop working at some point.

Ok, clear, in the 32 bit OS Sandboxie can patch the kernel, while this is not possible in the 64 bit OS, so SB uses the built in MS Kernel features for this. But being unofficial kernel interfaces, they may disappear or be changed, breaking SB functionalities if you use the "Experimental Protection" And on the contrary, I trust Sandboxie even more ... Thank You |
