If it's related to Flash videos, see the post about the recent Flash update.

Using Windows 7, 32-Bit, with Chrome 19.0.1084.56 m and when Sandboxie is running with default sandbox it plays, but no sound. Run outside sandbox, it has sound. Seems to be most or all Flash videos.

I am running Sandboxie 3.70 32 bit.
With Firefox when I try to play any video file, the audio will not play. when I try to play video in unsandboxed browser the audio is there. How do I configure Sandboxie to allow the audio track to play?

Installed latest sandboxie...
Installed latest flash player version 11.
Searching website using sandboxie works great...
When I go to youtube while in sandboxie, I could play many flash videos but some flash video crashes my computer blue screen.
So, I restart my computer and go back to you tube try few videos and it plays well. After then I went the video witch crashed my computer...
Well, the minuet I click that video, my computer again showing blue dead screen.
So, I restart my computer again and try other flash video sites. It plays well. So, I go back the video witch crashed my computer... well it crashed again...
So, I checked flash videos version. I can play most flash videos witch created older flash version. But my computer crashes video that created with new flash version.
I have no idea why it's doing that?

I just disabled flash player. Well, I can not watch flash player now while using sandboxie.
But, If I want to watch flash player, I get out from sandboxie and run firefox without sandboxie. I can watch anything.
If flash video can infect virus or melware while playing? Well, if not just disable it. I can download files and browse unsafe web pages with sandboxie.
Cool.

I had to upgrade to SandboxieInstall32-371-02.exe to fix my loss of sound issues after the flash player upgrade.
It is discussed in the referenced thread but there doesn't yet appear to be a beta forum for the new sandboxie version. The download links are here

Well last night I lost sound on my laptop with Firefox sandboxed. I tried Firefox unboxed audio worked ok..tried Chrome..ok...IE..ok...tried Chrome and IE Sandboxed no sound as well?

Well I just started using my Desktop and it has done the exact same thing...exactly Sad

Sandboxie 3.58 64 bit
Firefox 13.0.1 and on the laptop last night I rolled Firefox back and it made no difference uninstalled ..reinstalled Sandboxie no difference..this is the first problem I've ever had with Sandboxie. I'm like a fish out of water as I don't want to surf without Sandboxie.

The other bad thing is I was singing praises and gave 3 friends the sandboxie exe form my thumb drive the other day and if a bug has arisen and they start with Sandboxie and get no audio I'm going to look a chump lol

Thank you Smile
