I am running Mumble (mumble.sourceforge.net) in a sandbox, and for that of course allowed internet access to the mumble.exe. It works, but the support for my G15 display however doesn't anymore. Can someone steer me in right direction on how to allow mumble plugins in the sandbox or how to get the support for the G15 display working again?

I know that the description of the problem isn't very detailed. But I don't know exactly how mumble works and I hope someone here already knows this problem and has solved it.

I am using Sandboxie 3.72 under Windows 7 x64.

What is a G15 display? If I google that it looks like a gaming keyboard. Perhaps try this -- start the Resource Access Monitor in Sandboxie before running whatever it is that doesn't work.

http://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ResourceAccessMonitor

Then cause the problem to occur, and copy the log and the paste it here. If this G15 hardware involves resources to which Sandboxie blocked access, we might see that in the log, so we know how to fix the problem.

You're right, should have explained what a G15 is Very Happy

It's indeed a gaming keyboard with a LCD display, manufactured by Logitech. Ok, did as you told me, started the resource access monitor and ran mumble.

Here is the log.

Your log shows a resource called LGLCDPIPE-00000001 so that seems most appropriate.

Please open Sandboxie Control > Sandbox menu > your sandbox > Sandbox Settings
Then expand Resource Access, File Access, Full Access, click Edit/Add and paste:
\Device\NamedPipe\LGLCDPIPE-*

If that doesn't work, I'd like to see a second log with this setting in place.

Version 3.81.01 adds a compatibility setting for the Logitech G15 keyboard.

Alright, I renamed the description for the entry from "Logitech G15 Keyboard" to "Logitech Keyboard LCD Display".
