Hi,
How about an option to automatically open folder of a recovered item? Presently with my browser running sandboxed, when a file downloads and i recover it, i then have to browse to my download folder. Would be handy if sandboxie added a checkbox on the immediate recovery box to allow the user to open the folder once file is recovered.

It may not be the one click process that you are looking for, since it requires several clicks, but the latest beta version does have (Sandboxie Control) > View > Recovery Log, and there's a button there to "Open folder in Windows Explorer outside the sandbox".

And, of course, there is a pop-up to get to the sandboxed folder after download, just not the unsandboxed one.

Maybe an option on that dialogue to open unsandboxed also; only potentially dangerous if you have knowingly recovered a file, as it wouldn't appear unsandboxed otherwise.

Version 3.57.04 has a small button next to the Recover button which cycles between the functions Recover, Recover & Explore, and Recover & Run.

Tzuk, can you please make the choice "sticky", I always want "Recover and Explore". And the "same directory" destination is not highlighted by default.

I deliberately decided to not make the choice sticky.

OK Sad
And beta 5 cures the non-highlighting of the recovery folder.

Why the sad face. Even without the sticky, we're talking about just a couple of clicks now, so still an improvement.

It is a great new feature, "Brill" as I said earlier, and the Sad gave a worse impression than I intended. Apols.

OK, so for a full closure of this topic I can elaborate on what I said earlier. I definitely don't think Recover & Run should be a sticky option, because it's too risky. So if the recovery dialog would remember only when you chose Recover & Explore, but would not remember when you chose Recover & Run, that it would be confusing and would look like a bug. As for having a separate button that lets you choose Recover & Explore as the default option for recovery, about that I feel that it's just too much UI for such a trivial point. So like I said, clicking twice, it's still fine in my opinion.

I had not thought about the "Recover & Run" option as it had no interest for me, but that could be potentially too dangerous.
