I assume you let regseeker (the best reg cleaner the world has ever known - IMO) - extract those 25 keys?

also how are you accessing WE? try it through - right click tray icon - run sandboxed - Windows Explorer

I had RegSeeker delete the entries - that's the same as 'extract' them, right? RegSeeker created an automatic backup, in case I did something wrong there.

When I right click tray icon - run sandboxed - Windows Explorer, absolutely nothing happens.
If I have the Main Window (Sandboxie Control) already open, and then right click the tray icon - run sandboxed - Windows Explorer, start.exe shows up briefly under Process Name, replaced briefly by explorer.exe, which then disappears shortly afterwards.

Ok it's not your system - at least not yet -

There is a misdirection here if you are turning these programs off - simply through the GUI of each. What I mean is that all - or some of them could in fact not have shutdown in the process manager as yet.

1. reboot
2. after everything has settled - turn off each of the security products and give each a chance to firmly shut down - this is usually about a minute. but I would wait 2 minutes.
3. with all of the extra protectors shut down (not sandboxie) - open Firefox to a completely safe page (google search - here - your choice)
4. with firefox running - open WE from the task bar like I stated above

Just to explain for when you get back - there is a little hitch in the Sandboxie installation right at that driver installation point. That driver is installing deeply into your system. I uninstall and reinstall sandboxie a lot, as I am trying differant things. I have found that if I am too quick in my clicking - sometimes there is a little hic-cup right there. (like a freeze) - this was adjusted by Tzuk in an earlier update of Sandboxie.

Now I can reinstall successfully everytime. But in your case, you are turning off and then turning back on those other products right at that exact spot (are you this unlucky otherwise Sad )

OK, here's the latest.
I uninstalled Sandboxie again, and rebooted.
Found a couple of Sandboxie folders I'd missed before in C:\Documents and Settings\Gary\Application Data and C:\Documents and Settings\Rebecca\Application Data, so I deleted those (although I must've missed something, because when I went to set Firefox as a Forced Process after reinstalling again just now, it was already set for that).
Ran RegSeeker, which found 46 entries this time - deleted all those.
Set TeaTimer, Windows Defender, and AVG Antivirus and Antispyware NOT to load automatically at startup.
Rebooted (with my modem turned off!).
Installed Sandboxie 3.01 build 21 again. Before reactivating TeaTimer, AVG or Windows Defender, or touching the Sandboxie .ini file, I tried running Explorer sandboxed under both accounts. The usual processes show up for maybe 10 seconds, then it goes back to 'No processes are sandboxed at this time'.
I've reactivated the protection stuff I'd de-activated before, and I'm back online again now. Running Firefox sandboxed, I tried right click tray icon - run sandboxed - Windows Explorer. Explorer.exe shows up briefly under processes, and then disappears. Still unable to Sandbox Explorer.

If you're too busy to deal with this, I'll settle for being able to run FF sandboxed. I would very much like to be able to run Explorer sandbox as well, but I don't want to tie you up on a wild goose chase here!
Thanks again!

No dont worry about that. Its a computer, it does the work lol.
When you created the folders on the D and E drives for yours and Garys My Documents - did you do that by changing file paths - or just putting folders there and naming them?

I created new folders on D: and E:, then used TweakUI to move our My Documents folders from the default location to the new locations. Does that answer your question? As I said before, I'm new to a lot of this stuff...

Windows does not do a good job for what you want to accomplish and TweakUI does it worse. But It can be done. Leave all of Garys folders and your folders just as they are. Go into TweakUi and reset those associations back to default. Reboot. Come back. coffee break. lol

Oh boy! It may take me a while to figure out how to undo things in TweakUI - but I'm off to give it a try!
