Hello Smile been user of sbie for quite a few years now and never had an issue...yesterday i upgraded to windows 7 ,which is a wonderful OS but its SRP seems to not like some dll(or other) files of sbie...my guess is some file of sbie is executed in user dir and thus it intercepts it,since SRP by default excludes anything in sys32 and program file folders..i saw trespasser has also had the same issue with me previously here : http://www.sandboxie.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?p=39790&sid=4408bdca29161c98c043654c7731f73b

...i get the exact same error : Application popup: firefox.exe - Application Error : The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000361). Click OK to close the application.

Is there a workaround to that yet?can tzuk please list all the sbie files that are in user space and could be the issue?i could then try to exlude those from SRP...it works fine if i set srp to not protect vs .dll but that makes me vulnerable to dll injections...

Try with Process Monitor.

Try with File Monitor and try to configure it to only list .DLL files.

can't seem to find any running out of systemic areas that are allowed by default from SRP Shocked

I finally got around to implementing SRP on Windows 7 and can reproduce the error. I've not been able find any workaround within SRP or Sandboxie. I recall that tzuk had to make adjustments for Vista's SRP.

I circumvented the Windows 7 SRP + Sandboxie issue by replacing SRP with AppLocker. AppLocker's DLL enforcement is compatible with Sandboxie just by using its automatic-rules-generation feature. AppLocker, however, is only available on 7 Ultimate and Enterprise.

AppLocker on 7 Professional is a remote administration tool for managing AppLocker enforcement on 7 Ultimate/Enterprise systems over a domain. 7 Professional cannot apply AppLocker rules to itself.
