And what about the window messages and process terminations?

Another bug: Sandboxed Firefox doesn't recognize the installed Flashplayer. When I get on websites with Flash content Firefox tells me that Flash wouldn't be installed.
In unsandboxed Firefox the Flashplayer works like it should.

The NPSWF32.dll is not listed on the about:plugins page and giving firefox direct access to it does nothing.

SB x64 3.43.12 - Sound / Flash Browser Issues

Ok! So I'm writing this from within SB right now, so it means no more BSODs Very Happy Now that it's running, I have some issues I've found:

1) Firefox does not see the Adobe Flash plugin as installed. This has been reported in the other thread, but here is a better place. Opening 'about:plugins' does not list the Flash plugin.

2) No sound in firefox, at least not from Silverlight (which works fine otherwise). I tested here: http://virtualeye.lvps09.com/

3) Internet Explorer x86 does load Flash, however there is no sound from the browser on sites like YouTube, or the normal 'click' when clicking links or the home button (which reminds me I have to turn that damn thing off).

4) Internet Explorer x64 has sound (link click sound), but obviously does not load Flash, so I can't comment any more on that one.

Additionally I get a 'SBIE2205 Service not implemented: CM_GDIP (2)' message when running Internet Explorer x64. Here's a few RAM logs. The X's by the knowndlls seems to remind me of an old problem somewhere.

I'm also having the same problem with win7 x64 using Firefox but i am able to see flash plugin as installed.
I can't get any audio with Youtube. RAM log almost the same as wraithdu.

Any solution to this problem?

The flash issue is fixed in version 3.43.13.
The sound issue is not yet fixed.

It does seems that Flash (at least video) has been fixed with this new version in Opera. Sound still does not work. Java has also been fixed too, which was not functioning in the last build.

Now if you could just fix the printing issue and flash video I'd do a little jig, which isn't easy for a cripple to do. Razz

Hi I am running Windows 7 64bit. I've already installed the 64bit version of sandboxie Beta Version 3.43 however upon watching videos on Youtube I don't get any sound. It works perfectly in my browser if I don't use sandboxie but within sandboxie it gives me no sound. Is there a solution to this? So far it is all good with no crashes or errors yet, except I cannot get sound playing in my sandboxie programs. Thank you so much Tzuk.

I've made some progress identifying the cause of the problem, but it will take another day or two until I can finish dealing with this. In the meantime, you can add *MMDevices* in Sandbox Settings > Registry > Read-Only Access.
