Earlier with my old pc and windows XP i have run this surfbar every day outside the sandbox.
But now with my new pc and windows 7 i don't want to mess up (dirty) my pc with Temporere Internet Files,... From this basic, all online software (Surfbars, IE, Firefox,...) i start in sandboxie. I checked it differently: AudioEngineDuplicateHandleApiPort is comming when a banner/ad change. If i don't click on "weiter" no more banners/ads comming in the surfbar. I run the surfbar 60 minutes without clicking in the surfbar (not "weiter" and not other things in the software). Nevertheless/Despite the: After the 60 minutes the problem is comming (5 % CPU -> Systemunterbrechungen). After 70 minutes = 7 % CPU I don't know what it could be |

I tested this one more time yesterday, for about 20-30 minutes this time, while working on Windows 7. I did not see any use of AudioEngineDuplicateHandleApiPort by paradies.exe. Also I did not see any clear symptoms that I can work with.
I'm sorry, I'm going to stop looking into this problem now. You might have to restart your Surfbar occasionally, as a workaround, if you want to run it sandboxed. |

Now I've found the problem!!!!
The problem is between install the surfbar OUTSIDE the sandbox and run the surfbar (paradiesbar.exe) IN the surfbar! For testing I have install the surfbar IN sandbox too. And you're right! When I install the surfbar IN the sandbox and then I run the surfbar in the sandbox, all is good, no problems! I run the surfbar for a few hours and no problems. Curious.... When you install the surfbar out of/outside the sandbox and run the surfbar in the sandbox, you can see this problem. I think this is a sandboxie problem. |

Hi
Had a bit of difficulty understanding what is going on here (Ich nicht sprechen deutsch) but it sounds similar to the problem with Win 7 that I am having. I load three Java graphs, constantly updating (stock market graphs). After about 2-3 hours the no buffer space message arrives, browsers dead in the water. The only fix is a reboot! The three laptops I use all worked perfectly with XP, Vista and Win 7 RC1 Build 7100. When I updated them to the retail Build 7600 the problem struck. Since 1 November I have been trying to get support from Microsoft's New Delhi call centre and finally lost my temper 29 Jan. I think the problem is related to TCPNumConnections, TCPTimedWaitDelay and possibly other entries that were in earlier versions of Windows. We both seem to be running out of resources in a similar manner. Send me an email, to peterfrederick at hotmail.com and I can let you know what I find next week as I have emailed high level MS personnel. Viel Glück Peter |

It probably is a problem with Sandboxie, but the resolution will have to wait. I hope the workaround of installing the surf bar in Sandboxie will be useful to you, until I can make a more permanent fix. |

Hi PeteThePom, This is the problem that i had with the startparadies-surfbar too. You can prevent/stop the Messager "no buffer space" in Windows 7 and you must not reboot your pc to visit internet sites (browsers not dead): 1. Go in "regedit" of Win 7 2. Search this: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\Tcpip\Parameters 3. Right click -> new value 4. Name of value: MaxUserPort (Daten)type: REG_DWORD Wert(value): 65534 5. Close Regedit and reboot. (for interesting but only in DEutsch, i'm not very good in english: Beschreibung: Mit diesem Parameter wird die maximale Anzahl an Anschlüssen gesteuert, die verwendet wird, wenn eine Anwendung einen verfügbaren Benutzeranschluss vom System anfordert. Normalerweise werden kurzfristige Anschlüsse zwischen den Werten 1024 und 5000 (einschließlich) zugewiesen. ) But then you have a new problem: No more messages of "no buffer space" but instead after your 2-3 hours you can see in Windows 7 Resourcenmonitor this: http://www.swhtmw.bplaced.de/systemunterbrechungen.jpg Systemunterbrechungen (german) rises and rises and by 20% CPU your pc is very slow so you reboot your pc nevertheless yourself. |

I had to hide this message as well. I don't think this has anything to do with the problem. |

Hi,
I want to tell you that my message from Sat Jan 30, 2010 3:17 pm is wrong. I have check that for longer (and yesterday 30 minutes away from pc/inactive, when i come back, the same problem). If I install the surfbar IN the sandbox und run the surfbar in the sandbox too, the problem is still there. I just want to correct my message. I have with the version 3.43.16. another problem. I use the Maxthon Brwoser (Maxthon Classic 1.6.5.18 -> download -> http://www.brothersoft.com/download-maxthon-59753.html or information on http://www.maxthon.com ). If you install the brwoser ans start the brwoser (out of/outside the sandbox or with sandboxie version 3.42) and you click on a link (from surfbar or windows gadgets,...), all websites and popups open in Maxthon not in Internet Explorer. This is right. But with the version 3.43.16 websites don't open in Maxthon, Sandboxie 3.43.16 ignore Maxthon and open the links/websites in the Internet Explorer nevertheless. Is this fixed in version 3.43.21? or can you look at the problem? I think this is a simple/easy problem. |

I have news because the startparadies surfbar.
I have contact (e-mail) with PeteThePom (who has the same problem): Maybe/Very likely/probably it is a Windows 7 problem, not a sandboxie problem. He said microsoft will be work on the problem. I tell you if i had more news because the problem Once again: Thank you for your help and the great software sandboxie! But the Maxthon Brwoser problem is definitely a sandboxie problem, because without sandboxie i have not the problem (from Mon Feb 01, 2010 6:23 pm). I hope you fix it. |

| Buffer Space in Windows 7 |

The problem of running out of buffer space was all down to PCTools Spyware and Antivirus.
In testing I had disabled it and removed it from MSCONFIG thinking that would clear it from the list of utilities that might be part of the problem. It needed to be completely uninstalled to prevent Windows 7 running out of buffer space/connections. Nun ist alles gut |

Hey, i have news, because "Systemunterbrechungen":
The problem with "no buffer space available" was PC Tools Spyware Doctor (see PeteThePom). The problem with "Systemunterbrechungen" (inactive with cashcrawler/startparadies for 30+ minutes) was this: I have disable that the pc don't turn off the energy of this elements (see picture) -> right click on Device Manager -> Features -> Power Management. I think this was a problem combination with two USB-Hub (4x) and Cashcrawler -> inactive. The problem is gone!!! I have find the info here: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/de-DE/w7networkde/thread/f8033e3c-f391-4c6d-9f18-3ec63c4bcee2/ Once again: Thank you for your help! I'm very happy! ![]() |
