Guest101, finally I was able to reproduce the slowdown. It actually affects everything and not just Adobe Reader X. For example Start.exe takes more time to launch a program, and Internet Explorer starts slower. But of course Adobe Reader X sees the most pronounced effect with a huge delay.
The problem is SpyBot adds a TON of registry keys below this registry key, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap I think I will be able to develop a solution to this problem. |

Yes, you're right. After using the "undo" function many programs start faster. It's great news that there will be a solution possible.

Thank you for this information. i or we ever now that SD causes a lot of interference with other security programs but this seems to be the icing of all its (censored). |

Excellent, great to hear this problem is fixed and thanks for sticking with this until we figured it out. Also while addressing this issue, I was able to make Start.exe start slightly faster, so benefits all around.
